After 25 years doing spreadsheets and databases and getting constant suggestions to start a blog, I have finally decided to do so.
I am a Desktop Developer who designs `Departmental`applications usually for large clients. My tools of choice are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server (looks like a pattern there). But my focus is on the client-side of the fence so I use SQL Server as the robust, scalable data store it is meant to be and I use SharePoint for scalability as well as easy deployment and maintainability.
I will outline my experiences with all these products here I and hope this creates more `noise`about this great technology that I feel is so outrageously under-used and under-appreciated.
